- The Kangnam branch is the biggest in Korea. There are currently 15 bilingual instructors and 15 native-speaking instructors teaching about 800 to 1000 students. It is located at the heart of the commercial and entertainment district in Kangnam, Seoul. This area also has a lot of private institutions due to a high concentration of young adults. University student’s account for about 50% of the students enrolled at DE Kangnam. The other 50% consists of professionals working for foreign companies, lawyers and accountants.
- The busiest times of the year are just after the University Admission Test and before the beginning of Summer/Winter breaks. The registration rate is not greatly affected by seasonal fluctuations due to on-the-spot registration and a customer oriented scheduling system.
- As Direct English (Kangnam) has shown a sharp growth in the number of new enrollments and re-enrollments, We have seen rapid growth over the last 5 years and expect this trend to continue. We are always looking for qualified English instructors to join our team.
