Your first interview will be with our Recruiting Manager.
You may also have a second interview with either the Academic Director or the Pagoda Recruiter.

We do look for people with relevant teaching experience, educational background (minimum BA from a native English speaking country) and teaching qualifications (CELTA, TESOL, etc…).
Most importantly we are looking for people who are eager to teach, learn, help and work hard!
There are no shortcuts to a good lesson and being a native speaker doesn't mean you can teach English effectively.
We are looking for people who take their work seriously, are positive and sensitive to cultures, as those are the ones who will be of most benefit to our students and themselves.

The hiring process can take only a few days to a week depending on availability, the time involved in reviewing contracts and references, and the time needed to address any issues.
The Visa process, on the other hand can take 3 weeks to months depending on documents, immigration and consulates so be sure to get a jump on those transcripts and criminal background checks.
