No, as Korea uses a slightly different system so in most cases your phone from China, Thailand or home country won¡¯t work.
You can pick up a second-hand on prepaid plan phone very inexpensively or a new one on a monthly plan.
A second-hand phone can range from W30,000 to W100,000 and then top up your account every month for about W20,000 to W50,000 depending on how often you use it. |

There are a lot of restaurants from all over the world in Seoul and Busan so finding a good curry and even Mexican food is easy.
Some spices and other ingredients can be a bit harder to track down, but there are a few specialty supermarkets.
With Costco and other big Marts stocking goods from back home you are surely to find what you are looking for? |

Most items can be found, although they may not be your particular brand, so you may want to bring some of your favorite toiletries (deodorant, feminine products).
Clothing ranges from very inexpensive to outrageous here in Korea, so you can find something that you like, but for the ample-proportioned you will want to make sure you have a good supply of work clothes as larger sizes can be harder to find.
However, there are some reasonably-priced custom tailors here in Korea too! |

Well, Korea has four seasons and they are quite proud of that too, so be sure to sound impressed.
Be prepared for freezing temps in the winter, a humid summer and a lovely fall and spring. |

Not only that, but you will have an instant network of friends at your branch! |
