| Jongro Pagoda was the founding location in 1969 and is currently the 2nd largest Pagoda Institute with roughly 30 native English teachers and approximately 1,600 SLE and PIP students. Extensive remodeling of classrooms, study areas and the addition of a PIP Learner study area in 2007 has improved the teaching and learning environment greatly.
The Jongro branch is just a short jaunt from the Cheonggye stream, Insa-dong and offers easy access to a wide variety of shopping and entertainment venues, making this branch extremely popular with both teachers and students. Most teachers live in either Sinchon or Haebong-chong near Itaewon and commute about 10 minutes to work by bus. Both areas are always entertaining and expat friendly-areas to call home. |
