Our online application will ask for some general information and allow you to conveniently upload:
Your Resume: Please provide as much detail as possible related to teaching experience and teacher training. Please make sure that your phone is correct and having someone check for typos and spelling isn’t a bad idea either.

A Recent Picture: Most Korean companies require applicants to provide a recent photo as part of the application.

Cover Letter (optional): Although, not necessary it is nice to read about why you want to teacher at Pagoda Academy and/or Direct English and what skills you have to offer.

References (optional): If you have scanned letters of reference from teaching positions, especially ones dealing with adult learners you can upload them as well.

If you run into any technical difficulties or are unable to use our online application may submit the above through fax or mail.

After reviewing your application, taking into consideration your work experience, educational background, training and other factors we send out an email to express an interest in your application. This email also provides additional information about the position(s) and asks to schedule a phone or in-person interview.
After a successful interview a sample contract is sent to you to review. During this time we will handle any questions you have and we may schedule a second interview with the Director of the Academic Department. We will also ask for at least two references, preferable teaching ones to support your application at this stage if you haven’t already provided them.
If everyone is satisfied to proceed at that point then we will send you a final contract and move on to The Visa Process.
